Day-Wise Itinerary of Golden Triangle India by Train
Day 1: Delhi Arrival
Our welcome at Indira Gandhi International Airport by our Travel Agency’s representatives was so fantastic in full Indian style. I got to know there that this Airport is the busiest and one of the significant Airports which connects all the major ports of the World. We drove into the motor for our pre-booked luxury hotel in Delhi. After a pleasant check-in at the hotel, we took the day rest and made our splendid night by having a gleeful walk to the nearby streets of our hotel.
Day 2: Delhi, City Tour
It was such an exciting morning, and when we had our delicious breakfast, it drew us crazy. After getting ready, we stepped-out for the wonderful sightseeing tour to Delhi. Rightly said, if you want to see the whole of India then Delhi, the Capital is the right place. In our first destination of the Golden Triangle Tour, we visited the spellbind busiest old streets, which astonished our eyes by seeing the crowd and the vast market place. Along with this, we contemplated the rich heritage and grandeur architecture of Delhi by visiting ancient monuments which includes
- Red Fort
- Qutub Minar
- Rashtrapati Bhawan
- India Gate
- Jantar Matar
After visiting the magnificent sights of the Capital, we explored Sadar Bazar and Chandni Chowk, which is the Biggest Market of Asia. It was our first best idyllic shopping experience from the World’s cheapest and most popular Market.
Day 3: Delhi to Agra by Train
The very next morning, we woke up early at Delhi’s most luxurious hotel and had our last mouth-watering breakfast. You must be pondering, why so early? It is just my dear friends, we had to catch the train to Agra.
We rush to Delhi’s Railway station named ‘Hazrat Nizamuddin’ and loaded ourselves into the Train to Agra, which took nearly 3-4 hrs. After reaching the magnificent Agra, we had to check-into the next hotel of our second destination of the Golden Triangle India by Train.
After having a rest for an hour or two, we had gone for the exciting city tour to Agra. The Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of the world, was the first destination in Agra. Before this, we had just heard about the charismatic beauty of the Taj, but that day, in reality, we witnessed the spellbound beauty of the only and most beautiful wonder of the World.
It was a delight, sighting the Mughal city’s exotic marvels. After the Taj, we headed towards places like Tomb of Itimad-Ud-Daulah (aka Baby Taj), Agra Fort, Akbar’s Tomb, Taj Museum and of course, there are plenty of beautiful gardens to visit, but because of our time limit, we could only make a move to some. It is probably is in your hand to visit and explore the places of your choice.
If you visit Agra, and not going for shopping, it is genuinely a vain visiting such an illuminating shopping destination in India. So after hearing this from our knowledgeable guide, we picked our wallets and drove the idyllic markets of the second Destination of the Golden Triangle Triangle Tour. There are selective market places famous for cheap goods like Shah Market, Kinnari Bazaar, and Sadar Bazaar. Things for which Agra is most popular are white marble and its carvings and artefacts. Well-designed carpets, leather goods, and many more. Agra is for everything.
We stayed overnight in our luxury hotel.
Day 4: Agra to Jaipur by Train
Morning came, we woke up around 4:00 to catch the Train at 5:05 to Jaipur from Agra Fort Railway Station.
Agra Fort – Ajmer InterCity SF Express is the Train that always arrives on time. At 9:30, exciting, we arrived at Jaipur Jn Railway Station. Our Travel Agents then drove us to the next pre-booked luxury hotel of Jaipur. We had a delicious breakfast there, then took a rest for an hour. After having things done, it was time to tour the Pink City of the world.
The fantastic sights of the old city of Jaipur drew us in medieval times. Our eyes got bound by seeing the mesmerizing view of the town. Where every building is painted with pink and flaunts the ancient architecture. Guide guided us throughout the trip and even made us known to the history behind every old sight of the majestic Jaipur.
The first sight of the final destination of the Golden Triangle tour by Train was none other than the mind boggling Marvel of Rajasthan that is ‘the Palace of Winds, Hawa Mahal’ . We discovered by our guide that the Sawai Man Singh built this beautiful marvel. The majestic King initiated this magnificent building for all the women of his family who were not supposed to step out of their respective royal mansions. After pondering the sight, we visited the other beautiful tourist spots such as City Palace, Nahargarh Fort, Amber Fort, and even Jaigarh Fort; these are also known as the Jewels of Jaipur.
For the Dine, we chose the best place, the Chokhi Dhani, which feeds you in pure Rajasthani style.
After such an engaging day, we retired to our beautiful hotel rooms for the night stay.
